Mango Juice

Mango Juice 



Summer is here again  so it brings many seasonal fruits with it. You see mangoes all around. There are many varieties of mango . I haven't tried many only few I have tried. How about you guys?  Mango can be included in almost all dishes sweet or spicy. Lassi, ice cream , pudding , juice, milk shake are few sweet dishes. Pickle, Pachadi, Pulissery  (Yogurt Curry) are few other dishes that we can make . I am here with a simple summer recipe " Mango Juice ".Try this recipe to quench your thirst.



Total Time : 15 min 

Serves :         3 - 4 


Ingredients

Mangoes: 10- 15 ( small )

Water : as needed

Sugar:1/4 cup  (optional)

Ice cubes: as needed


Method 

1. Wash the mangoes well . Peel and chop it. 

                                                       

2. In a blender add the chopped mangoes (little by little ) and blend it .

                                                              
                                                             

3. Add sugar and blend it again till it is smooth ,add water if preferred.


                                                                    

4. Strain the juice to get a smooth texture.

                                                                        

5. Transfer this to a serving glass. Add ice cubes. 


6. Enjoy !!. 

                                                                    



Notes 

1. If you are using big mangoes , use 1-2. 

2. Sugar can be replaced with honey or brown sugar.

3. Adding mangoes in batches helps you to get a smooth texture. 

4. Straining juice is completely optional.
